The AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies is delivered at UP International College New Zealand, located in the heart of Auckland at 345 Queen Street—close to public transport and a wide range of accommodation options. Students enrolled in this programme also have access to AUT’s world-class facilities.
Our campus
Our modern, air-conditioned classrooms feature the latest multimedia tools, with computer labs available for independent study from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Students can also enjoy a spacious common room, espresso cart, and café serving fresh food and drinks.
All students enrolled in the AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies also have access to AUT’s library, learning centre and excellent sporting facilities.

AUT has three campuses around Auckland: City, Manukau, and North Shore. The City Campus, AUT’s largest, is near UP International College New Zealand and hosts most academic units and central administration.
It offers cafés, restaurants, bars, a gym, libraries, and student amenities like cycle racks, showers, and lockers.

Free access to digital tools and resources
AUT offers students all the digital tools needed to succeed, including free Wi-Fi on campus, the full Office 365 suite for up to five devices and access to LinkedIn Learning (Lynda), a worldleading online learning platform.
Te Āhuru Mayoral Drive Student Accommodation (City Campus)
Te Āhuru Mayoral Drive Student Accommodation is brand new and provides quality, modern, single studio-style living. The facilities and location are outstanding – in the heart of Auckland city, just a minute’s walk from AUT City Campus and with cafes and restaurants nearby. The accommodation is open to all tertiary students (not just AUT).
