July 2022 Orientation Programme for
AUT CERTIFICATE
IN FOUNDATION STUDIES

The AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies programme is taught at 345 Queen Street, Auckland and around the world, online.
The programme is designed to prepare international students for entry into AUT’s undergraduate degree programme. We aim to equip all students with the skills to succeed at University.

Session 1: Introduction to AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies | ||

Session 2: Subject Selection and Curriculum Information | ||

A presentation will be shown about the academic subjects offered in AUT CFS. There will be a chance to ask questions and fill in the MS Forms for subject selection at this time. These forms need to be submitted by Tuesday 12th July 2022 by 11.59 pm (NZ time). Click here to join. |

Session 3: Introduction to Digital Tools | ||

Introduction to Blackboard which is our Learning Management System and where all resources will be available. Access to student email and how to navigate it. Click here to join. |

Session 6: Q and A session for students | ||

Session 7: Live Lesson 1 | ||
| This session is the first of two Live Lessons on NZ Culture. This is to give students a taste of what online learning looks like, and to allow them to practise with the digital tools. At the end of this Live Lesson, the students will be given instructions and a code to access their Flexible Learning Activity that will need to be completed before the Live Lesson on the following day.
